Abstract
Finding aid only for Folklife Archives Project 1018. Folk studies student project titled: “The Dulcimer of Southern Appalachia,” which includes descriptions of dulcimer making in Knott and Letcher counties in Kentucky, Watauga County, North Carolina, and Franklin and Putnam counties in Tennessee. Sheets may include a brief description of belief, informant’s name, and motif index number.
