Abstract
Finding aid only for Folklife Archives Project 1200. Student paper titled “Folklore in Horse Training of the American Saddle Bred Show Horse” in which Jeri Fields details the experiences of Joseph Daniel Wilson, a show horse trainer living in Rossville, Georgia. Wilsondescribes his background with breeding, training, and showing class-ranked horses. The paper also includes folk beliefs, sayings, terms, and cures as they relate tohorses.
