Abstract

Finding aid only for Folklife Archives Project 1211. Student paper titled “Folk Remedies” in which Gloria Stillwell collects traditional cures and medicinal recipes for various aches, pains, and illnesses including “colic,” “diabetes,” “worms,” “asthma,” and other bodily-related ailments. Stillwell gathered her information from close family members and friends.
