Abstract

Finding aid and full-text scan of paper (Click on “Additional Files” below) for Folklife Archives Project 1362. Student folk studies project titled “Courtship and Marriage” which includes survey sheets about traditional beliefs about courtship, weddings, and marriage in Jefferson County and Simpson County, Kentucky. Sheets may include brief description of belief, proverb, superstition, custom, or tradition, informant’s name and address, along with text classification.
