Abstract

Finding aid only for Folklife Archives Project 1371. Student folk studies project titled “Mammoth Cave Folktales” which includes survey sheets with brief descriptions of park rangers and their folktales about Mammoth Cave National Park in Edmonson County, Kentucky. Sheets may include a brief description of the folktale or tradition, informant’s name, birthplace, age, photo, previous employment, and demeanor during interview. Project includes an audio tape of the tales as told by the park rangers.
