Abstract

Finding aid only for Folklife Archive Project 822. This collection “The Railroad and the Growth of the Spurlington Community” focuses on the small hamlet, located in Taylor County, Kentucky, and the importance of the railroad to its development. The information was gathered by Western Kentucky University student Teresa Spurling for credit in a folk studies class.
