Abstract

Finding aid only for Folklife Archive Project 828. Collection titled “The Courthouse Society,” which discusses the hobby of whittling and wood carving done by residents in the Pennyroyal Region of Kentucky, and how the courthouse serves as their general meeting place. This project was completed by Linda Atwell, a student a Western Kentucky University, for a folk studies class.
