Abstract

Transcription of an oral interview done with Elmer Britt, b. 1910, as part of a project entitled "A History of the Civilian Conservation Corps at Mammoth Cave National Park" (FA 81). Britt discusses his experiences as a CCC worker, excavating in the cave, laying pipe from a natural spring, recreational activities, and fire prevention during the mid-1930s.
