Transcription of an interview with Nellie Ruth Sublett conducted by Karen Owen for an oral history project titled "A Generation Remembers, 1900-1949." Sublett discusses his life and times, including information about courtship, rural electrification, bobbed hair, social life, floods, the Great Depression, the hanging of Rainey Bethea and other matters in Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky.
