Abstract
Interview with guitar player Mose Rager conducted by John Marshall, a graduate student in the Folk Studies Department at Western Kentucky University. The interview was conducted on 11 November 1977 at Drakesboro, Kentucky. Rager demonstrates guitar techniques. He also improvises and plays popular tunes. He provides information about models and makes of guitars, touring, tunes he has performed, coal mining in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, and his musical influences. Because of the poor quality of this recording, listeners will have a difficult time understanding the interview portions; musical interludes are clearer.
