Abstract

Transcription of an oral interview done with Vernon Wells, b. 1914, as part of a project entitled "A History of the Civilian Conservation Corps at Mammoth Cave National Park" (FA 81). Wells discusses his experiences as a CCC worker. He served as a park ranger. He also discusses the various methods of land purchases used to acquire property for Mammoth Cave National Park. The transcription of tape 2 of this interview is attached under "Additional Files."
