Abstract
Interview with Louise Markwell conducted by Joy Peterson for an oral history project called "Quilters on File." The project was sponsored by the Kentucky Heritage Quilt Society in the 1980s. Corollary material includes a tape summary and color slides of quilts owned or made by Markwell. The digitized version of this interview is stored in the WKU Sound Archives. This interview occurred on October 14, 1983, four days after the original interview, because side two of the original interview did not record. Thus, Joy Peterson re-interivewed Markwell to capture that material.
