Abstract
Interview with Louise Markwell conducted by Joy Peterson for an oral history project called "Quilters on File." The project was sponsored by the Kentucky Heritage Quilt Society in the 1980s. Corollary material includes a tape summary and color slides of quilts owned or made by Markwell. The digitized version of this interview is stored in the WKU Sound Archives. This is part 2; part 1 can be found by searching for "Louise Markwell" in the search box. This may seem out of sequence as noted on the tape summary: "Second sid eof TAPE ONE did not record - will reinterview." The subsequent interview occurred on October 14, 1983, four days after the original interview; it is considered a separate interview because of the two dates. It can be found by searching for "Louise Markwell" in the search box.
