Abstract
Audio interview conducted by Joseph Carl Ruff with Margaret E. Munday on March 5, 1993 in Auburn, Kentucky. They discuss African-American education in Auburn, integration, segregation, and race relations. Also discussed is Munday’s experiences at Western Kentucky University, where she was the first African-American undergraduate. She enrolled in 1956 and graduated in 1960 with a degree in music.
