- The Parker-Bennett Recreation Center has been closed by officials of the Parks and Recreation Department, following reports that a small group of youths have been controlling the operation of the center
- The center was closed by the parks board after reports that a group of older youngsters were harassing the younger children and selling drugs at the center (there wasn’t a full-time director employed)
