Abstract
Early 1900's catalog of the H. F. Wendell company that features the memorial cards for which they were best known and an envelope with the company's letterhead this sent in. ; Leipsic, OH H. F. Wendell & Co. 4" x 6"
Examples show available memorial cards for the deceased such as a memorial card called, "The Angel of Peace," 1918. The card, which is style number 1 is available printed in gold ink and has a half moon and the title on the top. At the center is an angel surrounded by stars and carrying a child and a bouquet of flowers. To the left are the words, "IN LOVING REMEMBRANCE" and at the bottom is a square with a verse. A gold border surrounds the edge of the design and under this is the company's copyright information. Other styles and examples are given.
