Abstract
The "Orphan Brigade" was a nickname given to a group of military units recruited from Kentucky to fight for the Confederacy during the Civil War. This finding aid was prepared by the Orphan Brigade Kinfolk and donated to the Kentucky Library along with military files, genealogical information, photographs, and biography on the original soldiers.
