Letter, 27 October 1828, from John and Nancy Brewton, Woodruff, (Spartanburg District) South Carolina, to Drury and Mary Burton, Scottsville, Kentucky. They write of cotton and pork prices, family news, and the controversy over the Tariff of 1828. Includes ten-dollar Confederate bill.
