Abstract

Finding aid only for Manuscripts Small Collection 2178. Correspondence among members of the Speake family residing in Virginia and Kentucky. The early letters reveal concerns related to the correlation of family health issues with God's sovereignty. Later letters indicate an attempt to re-establish communication between the two branches of the family and clarify relationships.
