Abstract

E-mail correspondence between Robert Buchanan, a retired Air Force captain, and his son Jake during the latter's service in Iraq. They express their feelings about military service, their relationship, and readjustment to family life; Buchanan also provides some personal history. Includes photos of both men and family members.
