Abstract

Letter, 2 September 1837, written by a nephew in Versailles, Kentucky, to Jacob Vandenberg, Washington County, New York. He discusses his working conditions as a salesman/bookkeeper, his bachelorhood, and his expectation that he will live in "single blessedness."
