Abstract

Finding aid and scan (Click on "Additional Files" below) for Manuscripts Small Collection 2287. Fred Welch Peel's reminiscences of growing up in rural Boyle County, Kentucky during the early part of the twentieth century. He writes of farm work, one-room schools, and community life. An appendix lists local properties in the county and in Danville.
