Abstract

Finding aid and scan (Click on "additional files" below) for Manuscripts Small Collection 93. Deeds, 1843 1870 (4), surveys, 1846, 1867 (2); receipt in connection with a damage award for the “unsoundness of three slaves,” 1841, and other receipts, 1840-1871 (13), chiefly of the Ashcraft family of Meade County, Kentucky; certificates of exemption from military service in favor of a substitute, 1864 (2); and sundry items.
