Abstract
Finding aid and scans (Click on "additional files" below) for Manuscripts Small Collection 158. Papers relating to U. S. Representative David Walker (1763-1820) of Logan County, Kentucky, including partial text of speeches, ca. 1804-1809 (3); 1816 broadside regarding his candidacy for Congress; plat of land on Drakes Creek in Allen County, Kentucky; and excerpts from published biographical sketches. Also includes wills of John, James and Lucy Hawkins, 1778-1835; Walker genealogy chart; published biographical sketches of Walker family members; and correspondence with Walker’s descendant concerning the papers, 1942-1953.
