Abstract

Finding aid only for Manuscripts Small Collection 203. Photocopy of a contract for a subscription school drawn up 7 November 1800 by David Barrow, a Baptist preacher and teacher in Montgomery County, Kentucky. The document specifies the length of the school term, compensation for the schoolmaster , and rules of conduct. Also includes a list of the subscribers.
