Abstract

Letter, 8 July 1898, from Cassius Marcellus Clay, White Hall, Madison County, Kentucky to Colyer Meriwether, advising him that he was sending a copy of the first volume of his autobiography to him, and commenting about the "vendetta" being waged against him by his divorced wife, Mary Jane Warfield Clay.
