Abstract

Baer, serving with an Indiana regiment in the Union Army, to his cousin Benjamin Kenaga. Baer writes of his regiment’s expected movements, his anticipation of action at Bowling Green, Kentucky, and of conditions in his regiment, including the lack of food.
