Abstract
Finding aid only for Manuscripts Small Collection 1507. WKU honors thesis written by Lindsey B. Thurman and titled “A Boy from Decatur: A Posthumous Memoir.” Using letters sent by Ernest C. Robertson to his family in Russell County, the author discusses how one young man’s military service, and his eventual death, during the Korean War affected his family. Includes typescripts of several of the letters.
