Abstract

Finding aid only for Manuscripts Small Collection 319. Photocopy of journal kept by John Lipscomb of his trip to Nashville and the Cumberland Settlements from southwest Virginia. Part of the journal is in typescript with an explanatory introduction and is entitled “Pease Supe, Milk and Clabber,” and the remainder is a photocopy of the original.
