Abstract

Finding aid and scan (Click on "Additional Files" below) for Manuscripts Small Collection 2525. Letter, 15 December 1944, from Ariel Clarence Cherry, Yakima, Washington, to his sisters, relating memories of their recently deceased mother, Leona Celeste (White) Cherry, of Warren County, Kentucky. Includes a note from a sister, Elizabeth (Cherry) McCallum, commenting on the wartime shortage of granite for grave markers.
