Huddleston and Joseph Duley to their in-laws, Squire and Sarah Raney, and letter from William A. Huddleston to his wife Lucinda. Written from Tennessee while the men were serving in the Union army, the letters describe Confederate movements, a battle at Sweeten’s Cove, the death of a comrade and the hardships of military life. Includes information on the Huddleston, Raney and Duley families.
