Abstract

Finding aid and scan (Click on "additional files" below) for Manuscripts Small Collection 565. Letter written 16 June 1902 by Johnston, Louisville, Kentucky, to Mrs. J.H. Mallory, Bowling Green, concerning an article that he wrote about her first husband, Samuel Lawrence, for The Confederate Veteran, May 1902. Also includes biographical information from printed sources about Samuel Lawrence and John Helm Mallory.
