Abstract
Finding aid and scan (Click on "Additional Files" below) for Manuscripts Small Collection 780. Letter, 8 September 1825, of Henry Grider and A. W. Graham, Bowling Green, Kentucky, to Governor Joseph Desha, requesting his assistance in funding the Southern College of Kentucky, which had been operating for three years in Bowling Green. Also included are photocopies of a (Bowling Green) Times-Journal article, 21 July 1937, concerning the educational history of Bowling Green and a 1969 paper by Ward C. Sumpter titled “Early Schools and Colleges of Warren County.”
