Original artwork for pp. 20-21 of The Last Black King of the Kentucky Derby, by Crystal Hubbard, with illustrations by Robert McGuire (New York: Lee & Low Books, Inc., 2008). The book was awarded WKU Libraries’ Evelyn Thurman Young Readers Book Award in 2010.
