Abstract

Finding aid and scans (Click on "Additional Files" below) for Manuscripts Small Collection 749. Correspondence between sculptor Charles Henry Niehaus and Dr. Arthur Thomas McCormack, Louisville, Kentucky, regarding statues of Henry Clay and Ephraim McDowell completed by Niehaus and placed in Statuary Hall, Washington, D.C. The letters also discuss a memorial to Jane Crawford, McDowell's famous patient.
