Abstract

Finding aid and scans (Click on "Additional Files" below) for Manuscripts Small Collection 826. Original unsigned letter written to Camilla Herdman Gerard, Bowling Green, Kentucky, describing the 1937 Louisville, Kentucky flood as the female writer experienced it. She expresses her thanks for Gerard’s hospitality in bringing her to Bowling Green to provide for her. Also included are a typed copy of the letter and a photocopy of two photographs showing the flood’s damage (original photographs are housed in the Gerard Photo Collection).
