Abstract

Finding aid, scans and typescripts (Click on "Additional Files" below) for Manuscripts Small Collection 940. Copies of receipts, 1800-1806 (4), of early Warren County citizens, including Bowling Green co-founder, George Moore. Receipts pertain to property taxes, 1800; payment for building jail, 1802; gambling settlement, 1804; and request for James Brown to give a coat to an individual, 1806. Includes a 1966 newspaper article about the discovery of the documents.
