Abstract
Finding aid and full-text of letters (Click on "Additional Files) for Manuscripts Small Collection 2772. Typescripted letters (22) of George Kenneth Tippin to his future wife, Pat Murphy, in Alcoa, Tennessee. He writes from Lynch, Kentucky of the rigors of his work in the coal mines, including accidents and injuries, his affection for her, and his attempts to save money from his earnings for their married life.
