Abstract

Letter, 18 December [1862], written by Union soldier Charles Caley, stationed in Bowling Green, Kentucky, to his wife in Mentor, Lake County, Ohio. He discusses his illness, his arrival in Bowling Green Green from Louisville with six hundred troops, and their encampment in an old sawmill.
