Abstract

Finding aid and full scan (Click on "Additional Files" below) for Manuscripts Land Grant 441. Original land grant, 1 June 1785, by which Patrick Henry, Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, granted to James Davis 400 acres in Jefferson County, Virginia (now Nelson County, Kentucky). Includes a survey of the land dated 14 February 1783.
