Abstract

Finding aid and scan (Click on "Additional Files" below) for Manuscripts Small Collection 1248. Letter written by Jesse Kirkland, Bowling Green, Kentucky, to his cousin John Milstead, Crossland, Kentucky, while attending school at Southern Normal School and Business College in Bowling Green. He describes a trip he took on the Green River and of seeing the landscape lit by electricity.
