Abstract
Finding aid only for Manuscripts Small Collections 2999. Photocopied typescript of a report by Joseph Rogers Underwood dated 13 February 1868 regarding business and tourist activity at Mammoth Cave in 1867. Submitted to the beneficiaries of a trust created after the death of the property’s last private owner, the report covers income and expenditures, the status of leases, and a plan to acquire land with a spring for water supply.
