Covington to his mother Lena (Kennedy) Nye, [Bowling Green, Kentucky] describing the difficulties he encountered in Europe just prior to the outbreak of World War II; letter, 30 June 1979, from Covington, Lake Forest, Illinois to Jane Morningstar [Bowling Green, Kentucky] commenting on the 1939 letter.
