Abstract

Finding aid and scan (Click on "Additional Files" below) for Manuscripts Small Collection 3180. Letter, 22 December 1906, of the sales manager of F. A. Ames Company, Owensboro, Kentucky, makers of “Pleasure Vehicles and Carriage Materials,” to W. E. Shelton, a dealer in Mayfield, Kentucky. The letter discusses substituting parts to remedy errors in two orders, and the catalog pricing for an earlier delivery of parts. The company letterhead includes an image of its factory and the motto, “Buggies Bred in Old Kentucky.”
