Abstract

Finding aid and typescript (Click on "Additional Files" below) for Manuscripts Small Collection 3202. Letter, 15 February 1860, written from White Hall, Madison County, Kentucky, by Cassius Marcellus Clay to his father, Brutus Junius Clay. He writes of trying three lawsuits in an afternoon, two resulting in victories and the third as yet undecided. He notes the severe winter, which will likely prevent seeing his father “until navigation opens,” and sends regards to his family.
