Abstract

Finding aid and scan (Click on "Additional Files" below) for Manuscripts Small Collection 3282. Power of attorney, 5 October 1842, appointing William Dillon of Daviess County, Missouri as attorney in fact for William P. Dillon and Nathan Dillon (guardian of Isaac Dillon), both of Tazewell County, Illinois. The document authorizes William Dillon to demand and receive payment of a legacy due under the will of Benjamin Poe, deceased, of Allen County, Kentucky.
