Abstract

Finding aid only for Manuscripts Small Collection 3270. Correspondence and papers of the Thomson family, Fayette County, Kentucky, and related families. Most concerns the estate of Patrick Henry Thomson of Hurricane Hall near Lexington and its devolution to his widow Julia and their children and grandchildren. Includes data relating to Patrick's interest in lands in Texas once owned by Alamo defender Patrick Henry Herndon. Also includes a copy of the National Register of Historic Places nomination for Hurricane Hall.
