Abstract

Finding aid only for Manuscripts Small Collection 3422. Letters to retired WKU faculty member Frances Richards, Franklin, Kentucky, from the Kentucky Historical Society. Most relate to Simpson County’s participation in ceremonies and programs commemorating the 175th anniversary of Kentucky statehood. Includes Governor Edward T. Breathitt’s proclamation and calendars of statewide events. Also includes 1958 letters with biographical data from Secretary-Treasurer Charles F. Hinds, delivered in advance of his speaking engagement at WKU.
