Abstract

Finding aid and scans (Click on "Additional Files" below) for Manuscripts Small Collection 3599. Letters, 7 June 1955 and 25 March 1960, to Mrs. Clarence Uhl, Wooster, Ohio, from Margaret Miller, public relations secretary of The Bethany Children’s Home, Inc. (formerly Bethany Orphanage), Wolfe County, Kentucky. The first thanks her for a gift of chicks, and the second inquires about purchasing 500 chicks in the same manner as the preceding year. The 1960 letterhead includes images of the Home’s 1926 facility and of a 1958 dormitory.
