Abstract

Letter written to Jonathan Ward, Plymouth, New Hampshire, by his brother, Daniel Ward, Indianapolis, Indiana, 1840, which concerns family affairs and politics, and a letter written to Ralph Ward by his mother, Mrs. Catherine Ward, Talbottom, Georgia, 1861, which concerns her experience of traveling on a railway car with Jefferson Davis and southern pre-Civil War sentiments.
